#Eargasm / Ludacris – Georgia (Remixed by heRobust)

It seems that heRobust is on a roll. We recently featured a track of him not so long ago and he busted another killer track that deserves to be featured once again.  Not even two days has passed and heRobust managed to gain close to 4000 plays on his remixed version of the already remixed track ‘Georgia on My Mind’ (originally from Ray Charles) by Ludacris and Field Mob. Using a little of heavy bass here and there and blend it together with Electronica and Dubstep tunes, you’ve got yourself another heRobust piece of art. Go check it out yourself and don’t forget to download it and put it on your iPod for further eargasmic enjoyment.

Beautiful Sushi

For many among us food is all about how it tastes like rather than how it looks like. How many times have you ordered those rolled up type of seaweed sushi or in other words “Makizushi” (Yes, I’ved looked it up!) and ended up with the same cylinder shaped roll? The Japanese ad-agency I&S BBDO came up with a very creative idea and used a laser-cut method to create gorgeous, polished, pattern-like seaweed sheets where each pattern is based from Japanese history that represents happiness, good fortune and longevity. If you’re interesting on buying a pack, check out their Facebook for more information!

Greetings from Typography City!

I am all for beautiful cityscapes and I am that kind of person that has a folder lying around somewhere on his computer with random cityscape and skyline images. Just because. However, Hong Seon Jang managed to create this beautiful, miniature cityscape that uses obsolete metal type objects that used to be utilized for printing presses. This project of his reminds me of Ephemicropolis where Peter Root used 100.000 staples to create an immens metropolis-like sculpture! If you haven’t checked out the making-of video of that one, you’re missing outType City is among his many other sculptures such as his much larger Type City project. It’s also worth mentioning that Jang has numerous of other elaborate sculptures that are simply beautiful to look at! If you’re a sucker for this kind of stuff, it may Check for more images below!

The most violent claymation of the decade

We’ve all played with clay before in the early days of our childhood but never on this level. Based on the award-winning, Indonesian and probably the most violent movie of the decade, The Raid: Redemption, this short clip surpasses any expectations of “claymations”. Lee Hardcastle retells the story of The Raid with claymation cats (and dogs) and made one jaw-breaking animation that leaves you in hilarity and awe at the end. Note: No cats and dogs were harmed during the production of this film! Check the continuing page for the video clip!

150 Years Bacardi, 150 parties

Bacardi is one of those brands that sticks with you the moment you take a little sip of those  enticing and eye-catching beverages that they have. Over the many years, they’ve been providing the party- and clubbing crowd with their exquisite alcoholic beverages since 150 years ago (you do the math) and are still going very strong. To pay tribute to Bacardi’s 150 years of existence, they want to celebrate it with you with a legendary party-marathon of 150 parties the whole year through. The kick-off will take place in Amsterdam on the 1st of June under the “1/150″ tagline and will continue on festival-grounds as well as on exclusive house-parties. However, only those that are long-time fans of the brand will receive an invitation and experience one of the 150 – I can already assume – legendary parties. For more information, check out the website!

#Eargasm / heRobust – Lovers Duet (ft. 2pac & Notorious B.I.G.)

Our longtime favorite heRobust may have just made the track that would made 2pac and Notorious B.I.G. lower down their guns and give each other a nice warm hug. He remixed the tracks “Crush On You by biggy and “Do For Love” by 2pac and made a jawbreaking mash-up using some acapella arrangements. Words aside, just hit the play button (or download the track) and let your ears enjoy the soothing sounds of heRobust’s magic on what was once, what Hip Hop was all about.

Google Maps: The Game aka ‘Cube’.

We all know that the Google behemoth is one big innovations factory spurring out one idea after the other. Some make a million.. billion bucks and others are just plain funny to play around with. Cube for instance, is a game about Google Maps where they reused the map data to make one giant marble game, where instead of getting the marble in the hole, you need to guide it to and through various waypoints using your cursor. However, to be able to play this game, you will need the latest version of Chrome. I got to warn you that the game is pretty addictive as well as a bit frustrating and might end you wasting hours (maybe even a whole day) on it.

Portugal. The Man – All Your Light

My all-time favorite band Portugal. The Man recently released an incredible music video of their track “All Your Lights” from their mouthwatering album “In The Mountain In The Clouds” where “wow” is a simple understatement. Check it out on the continuing page and don’t forget to turn on HD. I may sound like a fanboy bitch, but cop the album (just get ALL of them) while you at it. They’ve been there for quite some time, but they’re one of the few bands out there that actually can turn their shit into gold with every album they release. I don’t know how they do it, but I’m close to turning my sexuality for them. /asskissing out.
